                solve the system of equations:4x - 3y equals 14 and y equals -3x plus 4 i think its either 1(4,10) (2,2)

    Since 4x - 3y = 14 and y = -3x + 4, 
4x - 3(-3x +4) = 14
13 x = 26
x = 2
I don't agree with any of your y values. What is the 1 by itself supposed to represent?

    drwls sorry its suppose to be written like this  1( -4, -10) ,(2,2) the one  but when i did the equation agin i so confused that i got another answer it could also be (5,2)
