Question

a cyclist is travelling with an average velocity of 5.9m/s [w]. what will be his displacement in 1.5 h?

please show steps to answer-I tried but couldn't find the answer :(

Since distance = rate x time

the rate is in m/s but the time is in hours
so 1.5 hr = 1.5(3600) seconds
= 5400 seconds
we have
distance = 5.9(5400) m
= 31860 m
= 31.86 km
