Cassie has 1/2 pound of sugar in her cabinet. Her cake calls for 2/10 of a pound of sugar. How many cakes can she make?
1/2 + 2/10

5/10 + 2/10

= 7/10 is this correct

equal to

1/2 multiplied by 2 is 5/10 or 5/10 multiplied by 2 is 1/2 :)
