Wel-min makes a square quilt that has an area of 100 square feet.It has 25 square blocks, each the same size. What is the legth of each side of a block?

B 4 feet

Since the square root of 100 is 10 feet, the length of each side of the quilt is 10 feet.

The square root of 25 is 5, so there are 5 blocks on each side of the quilt.

10/5 = 2
