What did we do to the 7 to make it a 2 ?
looks like we subtracted 5
What did we do to the -3 to turn it into a 5 ???

so (x,y) ---> (x-5, ..........)

I am sure you can get this
Answered by Callie
So (x,y)--->(x-5, y+8)?
Answered by Brady
Yes, (x,y) = (x - 5, y + 8). (x - 5, y +8) is the answer to the above problem.
Thanks you guys!

you take it to the left 5 units and then up 8 but you should do the math to explain it. it really helps I know cheating is bad but some times you got to.

i kinda want to get into listening to bts cuz so far i'm not a fan but i wanna listen to their music before i judge so anyone got any song recommendations from them? (teehee i'll trade with a one direction recommendation if you want)
Answered by koolkid
I've been a one direction fan since I was like 8 so count me in!
I am very confused but ok

This has been useful, thanks!

To all who don't get it (x - 5, y + 8). (x - 5, y +8).
X=7, Y=-3. If you take 7 and subtract by 5 you will get 2. If you take -3 and add it to 8 you will get 5. So that is (2,5).

Really hopes that cleans up the confusion.
