the shadow of a pole measured from the foot of the pole is 2.8 m long if the distance form the tip of the shadow from the tip of the pole is 10.5 m then find the length of the pole.

y^2 + 2.8^2 = 10.5^2
y^2 = 102.41
y = √102.41 = appr 10.12 m
