an interval is "a mathmatical expression of 'betweeness' a---------b
or a<x<b this can also be written as [a,b] the square bracets indicate that a and b are to be included"

hope that helps!

the interval separates the scale into equal parts
1-25
26-50
51-75
76-100
interval:25
scale 0-100
25 is one thing that fits into 100 and 0 and you also can see that the # above are separated by 25 and are factors of it too.

21-30

41-50

The interval is 10.
An interval the number that is inside those 2 numbers that are listed ex.21-30
intervals are a range of data for example 2 10 16 9 5 4 7 8 20 21 15 16 12 the range can be 0-5, 6-11, 12-17,18-23 and then you will have to find out how many times it appears in the segment 0-5 is 3 6 to 11 is 4 12 to 17 is 3 and 18 to 23 is 2. thanks!
