What I did was:
2.2/-2.9 to get their ratio...but that isn't correct.

Total momentum = 0

Mb*2.2 - Me*2.9 = 0
Mb/Me = +2.9/2.2

the ratio of masses is unlikely to be negative and I think you have it upside down.
