Question

A force of 3.25 N acts on a(n) 3.8 kg object
for 16.5 s. What is the object’s change in
momentum?

Answers

Don
F=ma

F=Force
m=mass
a=acceration

F/m = a

3.25/3.8 = .855m/s^2

a=.855 m/s^2

now we have to find velocity at given time

a*t=v

.855*16.5 = 14.11 m/s

now momentum formula

p=m*v

p=momentum
m=mass
v=velocity

p=3.8*14.11
= 53.616 Ns
