Question

I have to write a family story in the form of a parable.
Any ideas on which kind of lesson I could write about?
I know I have to pick the family story, but some ideas on what to start with would be great.

How about teaching a child not to stretch the truth. You might make the truth into a "rubber band" <G> that gets stretch farther with each "story" told...until it snaps and hits the story teller. You can have fun with that idea, I think
