What did you do?
Answered by Steve
You can do it using the distributive property as J and Ms Sue did, or you can use it implicitly, working term by term

z-2z+4z+6
-z+4z+6
3z+6

Their answers basically factored out the z, as in

z-2z+4z+6
(1-2+4)z+6
(3)z+6
3z+6
