I am a fraction whose numerator and denominator are both prime numbers less than 20. if you were to increase each term by 1, I would be equivalent to 1/2. what fraction am I?

Just try different combinations of prime numbers over each other. I got three sevenths.

There are quite a few answers to this.
First, the prime numbers below 20 are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19
So, you've got 2/5 and 3/7 and 5/11 and 9/19. Add one to the numerator and denominator of each and you get 3/6, 4/8, 6/12 and 10/20.
Not sure which one they wanted.

I got 3/7. If you increase the numerator and the denominator by 1 it equals 4/8 or 1/2. There are multiple awnsers.
