One side of the triangle is twice as long as the second side. The remaining side is 4cm greater than the second side. The perimeter of the triangle is 24cm.Find the length of each side of the triangle.

You could use the guess and check method

If the 2nd side is x, then
2x + x + x+4 = 24
Now just find x, which is the 2nd side. Then it is easy to figure the other two sides.
