calculate the amount of work it takes to increase a cars speed from 10mph to 30 mph and from 50mph to 60mph. Is more work required for 10mph to 30mph?

change those to meters / second
(1/2) m (V2^2-V1^2)
note 6^2 - 5^2 = 36-25 = 11
but 3^2 - 1^2 = 9 - 1 = 8
