Are some people genetically inherent to addiction? Is addiction a learned behavior that comes from surroundings?

Just to clarify I could say in my essay that drug addiction is caused by peer pressure, genetics, and psychological and physical factors? In the research I've done addiction seems more like a learned behavior rather than an inhereted one so I have having trouble writing my answer.

Yes, genetics is an important possible factor in addiction. Here is a site on that.
