first reduce the equation to
x + 6y - 3 = 0
Since the new line is perpendicular, it must be
6x - y + c = 0
plug in (2,4)
12 - 4 + c = 0
c = -8
new equation:
6x - y - 8 = 0
x + 6y - 3 = 0
Since the new line is perpendicular, it must be
6x - y + c = 0
plug in (2,4)
12 - 4 + c = 0
c = -8
new equation:
6x - y - 8 = 0
