14 + 7x < 5x

x > -7

7 < -x
or
-7 > x reverse arrow when multiplying by negative quantity
or
x <-7

check that, for example if x = -8
14 + 7x = 14 - 56 = -42

5 x = -40
so yes, 14 + 7x < 5x
