Can someone explain the magnitude and direction of the acceleration of a ball moving upward, downward,and at the highest point? a=g

Upward: a = g = -9.8 m/s^2(slowing down)

Highest point: a = g = -9.8 m/s^2.

Downward: a = g = 9.8 m/s^2.

The data shows that the acceleration due
to gravity is present during the entire
flight of the object. If g goes to zero, the object would not come down.
