An object is thrown up with a velocity 30m/s. If the acceleration due to gravity is 10m/s2. Cal. I) its velocity after 2s. II) the maximum height reaches. III) the time taken for the take object to come to rest.

1. V = Vo + g*t = 30 - 10*2 = 10 m/s.
2. hmax = (V^2-Vo^2)/2g
hmax = (0-(30)^2)/-20 =
3. V = Vo + g*Tr = 0 @ hmax.
Tr = -Vo/g = -30/-10 = 3 s. = Rise time.
