Asked by Me and I
Please help me go through this
F = q1q2/r^2, i know this is the equation, but i don't know how to get the answer, please help.
What is the electric force between a +2 µC point charge and a –2 µC point charge if they are separated by a distance of 5.0 cm? Show your work. (µC = 1.0 × 10^–6 C)

(9x 10^9)/(.05m)^2, is this what i should be calculating?

F=KoQ1Q2/r^2
Where
Ko= 8.988 x 10^9 N*m^2/C^2
Q1=+2 µC=2 x 10^-9 C
Q2=-2 µC=-2 x 10^-9 C
and
r=5.0 cm=0.050 m
***Notice that Coulomb's constant contains meters and that it contains coulombs and not microcoulombs.
***Convert centimeters to meters and coulombs and not microcoulombs.
Solve for F:
F=(8.988 x 10^9 N*m^2/C^2)*(2 x 10^-9 C)(-2 x 10^-9 C)/(0.050 m)^2
F==(8.988 x 10^9 N*m^2/C^2)*(4 x 10^-18 C^2)/(0.050 m)^2
F=?
I'll let you take it from here.
