Find the roots of each quadratic polynomial.
1. 16x + 40 + 2x^2
A: No real solutions?
Solve. Round to the nearest hundredth.
2. 12 = 5x^2
A: 12 = 5x^2
12 / 5 = 5x / 5
12/5 = x^2
±2√3/5 = ±√4x3/5 = ±√12/5 = x
x = ?
(Supposedly, the answer to this equation is ±1.55. However, I don't know how to obtain it.)

#1 correct because 256-320 < 0
#2 ok
#3 what? you have the answer: ±√(12/5)
as a decimal, that's ±1.55
12/5 = 2.4 and √2.4 = 1.55
