In class I have to do a talent show. If I learn karate from my friend do YOU think that is okay for a talent show?

Sure. Karate is a talent for many. People have done it in talent shows at my school. :-)

A talent show should exhibit something you do well. If you don't know karate now, I doubt if you can really expect to know enough to show that you have "talent" in that skill.

Think about what you do really well. Can you dance, sing, play an instrument, shoot hoops, draw, do karaoke, tell jokes, read dramatically?

Choose to do something that you already know how to do.
