                How would applying an external pressure on the following equilibrium affects the distribution of iodide between the polar (aqueous) and non polar (varsol) phases?
I2+I^- --> I3^-
All are aqueous solutions

    I don't believe the equilibrium is shifted by pressure in an all aqueous system although I have a little trouble visualizing varsol as an all aqueous phase.
