You and some friends go bungee jumping, but you are afraid of oscillations which go too fast. Which one of these options would provide the slower oscillations?
a) Tying two bungee cords to your feet such that each bungee cord is attached to your feet and the object which you are jumping from
b) Using a single bungee
Can you please explain it to me? Thank you so much!

frequency of oscillation...
f= 1/2pi sqrt k/m
a, two bungie cords doubles k, so f goes up.
b. one single is half the k, so f is lower.
