I can't solve this problem

4x-7=2x+11

x= ?

I don't know how to do it! Help!

You have to get your like terms on the same side, example
10x-5=5x+10
10x-5+5=5x+10+5
10x=5x+15
10x-5x=5x-5x+15
5x=15
5x/5=15/5
x=3
