The speed of an ocean wave is measured by an oceanographer.the wave travels 30 meters in 10 seconds. How many meters will the wave travel in 2 minutes

30 meters in 10 seconds = 30 / 10 = 3 m / s


2 min = 2 * 60 = 120 s


3 * 120 = 360 m


OR

2 min = 2 * 60 = 120 s


30 * ( 120 / 10 ) = 30 * 12 = 360 m
