I need help with this problem. Solve the equation using the addition property of equality p-1=4

p-1= 4. P= ? To solve it with addition only in algebra we do it the oppiste e=way and backwards. So our question, Cora Evans, is really just 4 + 1 = 5

P = 5
add 1 to each side.
p-1=4

Add 1 to both sides of the equation.
add one to both sides

p - 1 = 4
1 = 1

p+1-1 = 5
or
p = 5
