1. y=x^2-x+3

y=6-3x

2. y=4-2x
y=2x^2-3x+4

1 answer

y=x^2-x+3 and y=6-3x

so: x^2-x+3 = 6-3x
x^2 + 2x - 3 = 0
(x+3)(x-1) = 0
x = -3 or x = 1

if x = -3, y = 6-3(-3) = 15
if x = 1, y = 6-3(1) = 3

the intersection points, if that is what you wanted, are
(-3,15) and (1,3)

Follow the same steps to do the 2nd one.
