1. Add some water to a 100 mL volumetric flask, add 10 mL of concd H2SO4 DROP BY DROP to the water in the flask, swirling with each drop. If the solution gets too hot let it cool. Add the remainder, then dilute with distilled wter to the mark on the flask.
2. What is your starting material. You need either a bottle of concd H2SO4 (if you have that you will need the density of the solution) OR you will need a stock solution of H2SO4.
1) Describe how you would dilute 10mL of concentrated sulfuric acid to 100mL.
2) Describe how you would make 500 mL of 0.1 mol L sulfuric acid form 2 mol L^-1 sulfuric acid.
