it was necessary bcoz it eliminated the enemies of the revolution internally and externally ,it also created economic stability however it killed innocent people through the law of suspicion whereby one could be accused just bcoz of hatred

to a greater extent the reign of terror was necessary since it was the one which manage to preserve the gains of the revolution
