write an equation to explain the interaction of the compound,RNH3Cl with NaOH
a)HCl + NaHCO3 -> NaCl + H2O + CO2 b)2HCl + CaCO3 -> CaCl2 + H2CO3 -> CaCl2 + H2O + CO2 c) Al2O3 + HCl -> AlCl3 + H2O + O2 hmmm a) 1mole b) 2moles 3) 1 ??
i got 0.01371516348 moles of HCl and then the molecular mass of NaHCO3 is 84.008.. how am i going to use these 2 to find the mass of NaHCO3? (sorry, i'm just confused)
oh, i'm sorry, i was not able to see your answer on my previous question right away. i was posting my questions first, hoping to have answers right a away even with just one of my posts. i'm sorry. and thank you, i'm now using what you told me. :)
oh! is it right? i need to multiply the number of HCl to 1mol/6.022x10^(23)?
i didn't round it off, because in our class we have a rule that we should not round off until we get the final answer. NaHCO3 + HCl -> NaCl + H2O + o2 0.040 L / 0.120 mole L = 0.33..
thank you. i'm just confused what to use to find the number of moles, when there's mass and other given. thanks for the help.
oh, you used the molarity to get the mole.. but i don't know what will i do with the 500mg and how to relate (3)and(4) to get the mass of NaHCO3.
Let l = measure of the parallel side of the highway in meters w = measure of the perpendicular side of the highway in meters l + w = 3000 l = 3000 - w length = 3000 - w width = w A= lw **since we will only use 1 side of the length, we will use: A= [(3000-w)/2]w 0r w[(3000-w)/2] = -(w^2)/2 + 1500w **complete the square = -1/2 (w^2 - 3000w + 225,000) + 1,125,000 = -1/2 (w-1500)^2 + 1,125,000 w=1500 A max.= 1,125,000 **substitution l=(3000-w)/2 =(3000-1500)/2 =750 dimensions: 1500 x 750

i think of 3 positive numbers. the greatest number is twice a perfect square. the least of them is 1 less than half the greatest number. the average of the 3 numbers is 12.
