"(Ignore problems such as who will service the machines if everyone plugs in.)" I haven't read Brave New World. I think that's a summer reading book for seniors or something. Maybe in four years.
It's 6, I think, the wheel. Look at all the other ones there: most of them have to do with people, who are most definitely not machines and not simple! A row boat is too big of a thing to be simple, and I don't think it's the saw. That leaves the wheel.
That's it! You're just distributing b to (c+3d).
Do you mean something like "growth"? I don't know what you mean by Feature of Life.
I was thinking of saying something like in the Machine, if you set it a certain way, your life would be perfect, and a perfect life can be boring... etc...etc...unrealistic...etc...
Hmmm... that's a good idea! I'd feel bad using it in the essay, though, because it's not my own. Maybe I'll bring it up in class tomorrow. Thanks!
thanks... there's only one kid in my class who would. i'm writing a paper to persuade someone NOT to go in.
yes, that's what i meant. i meant to pick two points, not just one.
ysub2-ysub1 ------------= slope xsub2-xsub1 the points are (x,y), obviously. just fill it in.
thank you! it's bit late now, but the information looks helpful for future reference.
Hola, me llamo Tymara Victoria Wren. Or you could say "Soy Tymara..." Me llamo means "I am called" and soy means "I am." They both mean "My name is," in that context, but me llamo is more common.
it's stil hard for me. :(
No, you seem smart! This geometry is harder than the class I'M taking, and I'm in honors! So you're very smart!
I don't know what biconditional means, but I'm pretty sure that b is true.
what book?
You are welcome. :)
ohhhhh. i thought you were just like "do my homework"! i understand. sorry i was rude.
do you really not get ANY of your geometry homework? are you even trying?
that doesn't make much sense to me.
something like, "if there are two points, then there is a line" is that what you mean?
yes! sorry i wasn't clear. glad to be of help. is that it? can i do my english homework in peace now? (just kidding. that was so fun. i feel so smart. and i'm glad you understand it! now i know how teachers feel! :)
THIS IS WHAT I WROTE BEFORE: First, add both segments together: (combine like terms) (4a+5)+ (2a-6)= 6a-1 And because 6a-1 is the whole segment, make it equal to 20. 6a-1=20 6a=21 a=3.5 Now you have to substitute... can you take it from here?
ok... but in my first response, didn't i help you a lot? did you read that one yet?? there wasn't much you had to do after that, rememeber? you just had to substitute. let me know if you even read that one before i help you with stuff you don't need me to!
what do you mean? do you need me to help you solve for XZ? i can do that. is that problem the ONLY one you need help with?
well i think i could... how much is left?
ok... for what?
that's fine! i don't even know your age so you don't sound stupid at all. substituting is like this: if you have, for example, 5n-2, and n=7, to solve for 'n' you would need to substitute it in. 5n-2= 5(7)-2=......... this is the distributive property,
you're welcome! can you figure out the rest or do you need more help?
that's what i thought, but thanks for confirming.

is Y the midpoint of segment XZ? in other words, are segments XY and YZ equal to each other?
look up 'erode.' it's like wearing away. and weathering is wearing away by weather, either mechanical or chemical.
weathering and erosion
wouldn't it be convection? because there are convection currents in the air?
