csc theta= -2sqrt3/3 so third option
y= sqrt5/3 x+1 and y= -sqrt5/3 x+1 no parentheses if you’re doing the comic sections test i got 1. c 2sqrt10 2. ellipse 3. a. (0,-4) r=sqrt 3 4. b (x+3)^2 +(y-2)^2=9 5. d (x-4)^2+(y-3)^2=4 6. a. (x-3)^2/16 + (y-1)^2/4=1 7. c. (x+4)^2/4 +(y+3)^2/16 =1
the thing messed my spacing up but the first set up was supposed to be 1/x +1/x+2 =9/40 hope that helps
it’s two consecutive EVEN numbers meaning we have x and x+2 bc both have to b even we have to use reciprocals 1 1 9 — + — = —— x x+2 40 we have to multiply the bottom with everything it is missing (this will cancel out the entire denominator) 1 1
formula i used y=a/(x-h) +k vertical asymp x=-2 and/or h=-2 horizontal asymp y=5 and/or k=5 y=a/x-(-2) +5 plug in the (0,7) to find a 7=a/0+2 +5 subtract 5 2= a/2 multiply 2 to cancel out the division a=4 plug everything in y= 4/x+2 +5 check desmos
3 ^5√(x+2)^3 +3=27 isolate the radical 3 ^5√(x+2)^3 =24 divide by 3 ^5√(x+2)^3 =8 set the radical to the power of 5 to cancel out the sqrt and also set 8 to the power of 5 (x+2)^3 = 32768 cube root to cancel out the exponent of three x+2=32 -2 x=30 i
