You can never have the variable as the answer. Because when you isolate it won't work. The sum of 11 11+ And Julie age (we don't know this so we put a variable) J Is 60 ( this is the answer because it says is) So: 11+J=60 Now you can solve it 11-11+J=60-11
Ok thank you so much for your time! I got a bit confused on the multiplying of LCM but now I understand.
