Trying to find x I'm guessing I would (-6x•1)-(-6x•-4x)+(5•3x)-(5•-8) -6x+24x^2+15x-40 24x^+9x-40 Now use the quadratic formula to solve for x. You can solve the other prob in the same manner. Hope this helped :)
