Sorry once again Ms Sue I'm just trying to find out what the x would be
Yes Ms. Sue my mistake
no I don't because I was going by pemdas.
the original problem is 3+x(12*4)-24 and I thought because by 12* 4= 48 then by adding 3 that gave me 51 then I subtracted 24 and that left me with 27 so I divided 48 by 27 and that gave me 1.7 so i placed 1.7 as the x and it's on the other line showing
:( but I understand I believe an unasked question is the wrong question. But thank you for taking the time to even answer the question so I'll let you get back to work **SMILE**
Ms. Sue how much does your tutoring services cost? That's if you even do it besides online.
Hi Ms. Sue, I thought I needed to because of the x and the + sign had me thinking it was multiply then add the subtract. UGH it's my fault because I keep forgetting about the other rules that apply to doing theses types of problems. I'm not good in math at
not a problem I was confused I thought it may have been something like that. Thanks again :)
Thank you once again Sue life saver Amilia not sure if your question was directed towards me but I'm lost on that question right now.
thank you :)
Is this done right? to have a solution but both sides of the equal sign must be the same. An example would be 2-x=1. You subtract the 1 from each side, (2-1)= (1-1), making x=1. Plug it back in 2-1=1. The 2-1 equals 1 which is the same number on the other

THANK YOU *SMILE* I just told my cousin earlier that I think I have dyslexia when it comes to math and remembering the formulas. UGH but thank you for clearing it up for me.
