First of all, you need to know how old the mother is in the first part of the equation. It says the woman is HALF of her age, so, you would multiply 21 * 2 which gives you.. ?
The mother would be 42. Now, if the woman was 42, we apply the same kind of equation. 42 * 2 since she is still half of her mother's age. Her mother would be 84.

Well if it's circumference is 272.2, the radius would be 136.1, would it not? 272.2 / 2 gives that answer.
Ah wait, lemme redo this. I got circumference mixed up with diameter.
No no, I know it's wrong now. I'm solving it right now
9 years ago
How is it A? Wouldn't it be C? Circumference is pi x diameter.

272.2 / 3.14 = 86.7 inches, right?
Oh, that may've given me the diameter. I think Edward is right; my mistake!
