Thank you, Ms. Sue what about CP That mountain is the tallest one around here. (in the tallest one around here) The fire destroyed the old house. (destroyed the old house) The Puppy limped toward the old man. (limped toward the old man) are my answers correct.
Thank you again Ms. Sue may I ask your help with two other questions? Simple Subject: Gold miners were Jack's best customers. (gold miners) A cellular telephone is one example of this change. (cellular telephone)
THANK YOU, Ms. Sue
Thank you so much. I love you. xD
Break the graph up into a bunch of increments, each with the same x-axis distance between them. The more the graph flips from up to down, the more increments you need. (The more you have, the better your derivative graph will be.) Write down the (x,y) coordinates of each point. Find the slope between each set of points by taking the rise/run: (y2-y1)/(x2-x1). Plot these points directly between each division you made before. As an example, suppose you initially broke the graph up at each whole number (x=1, x=2, x=3 etc) then your derivative points need to go at x=1.5, x=2.5, x=3.5 etc. Connect these points with a smooth line, and you're done.
what is the a~ all about? If it is a square root symbol then the solution looks like this: x + (2x-5)^(1/2) = 10 : move x to other side (2x-5)^(1/2) = 10 - x : square both sides 2x-5 = (10-x)^2 : expand the squared term 2x-5 = 100-10x-10x+x^2 : combine terms 0 = 105 - 22x + x^2 : use quadratic formula to solve for x x =[-(-22) +/- sqrt(22^2 -4*1*105)]/(2*1) x= [22 +/- sqrt(484 - 420)]/2 x= [22 +/- 8] / 2 x= 7 or 15 Plugging back into our initial equation shows that 7 is a solution, but 15 is not. This is because we started with a square root, which is invalid for negative numbers. Regards.
Well, you know that you have 540,000 dollars to spend, so model x*18,000 + y*24,000 < 540,000. Next, you know that at most, you may buy 25 new cars, so x + y < 25. If you treat these two inequalities as equations, you can solve for the extreme points. That is say: x+y = 25 so y = 25 - x. Plug y into the first equation and you get 540,000 = x*18,000 + (25-x)*24,000. Solve for x: 540 = 18x + 600 - 24x -60 = -6x x = 10 plug in x=10 into x+y = 25 and you get: 10 + y = 25 y = 15 So, if you buy 10 x model, and 15 y model cars, you'll spend all your money, and have the most cars possible. However, remember that these were inequalities. There is nothing stopping you from spending all your money on model x, or all of it on model y. Also, nothing says that you have to spend all your money either. If you spent all your money on model x, you would get 540,000 / 18,000 = 30 of those. If you spent it all on model y, you would get 22.5 of them. To show the region described by the system, I would make a two sided graph that looks like this: |. | | - .| |_________| The left vertical line is model x, the right is model y. Going across the bottom is increasing model x and decreasing model y. The y-intercept on the left axis is 30, and the y-intercept on the right axis is 22.5. Where the two cross in the middle is where you get the most car for your money. Best of luck!
Sorry, the formatting on the graph got messed up. It should be a horizontal line with two vertical lines sticking up at each end.
One trick that might help you out is to remember that powers subtract when dividing (and add when multiplying) So starting with the original equation, you can pull out all the constants (by putting them to the exponent power) then simply subtract the powers. For instance, the top half of the fraction 14 (2x)^3 * y^5 can be rewritten as 14*2^3 * x^3 * y^5 you can then just subtract the exponents on the bottom of the fraction which gives you (ignoring the constants) x^(-4) * y^(2). All that's left is dealing with the constants (which should be pretty easy) and putting the negative powers on the bottom of the fraction for the final solution. Best of luck!
They ingest nutrients, they expel nutrients, they grow, they require water and reproduce. (eat, drink, poop, grow screw) Good luck!
1) there's an identity for d/dx (cot x) which = csc^2 x. So the answer to 1) is csc^2 x + cos x. 3) use the derivative multiplying rule first *d(second) + second *d(first): y' = x*(-csc(x)*cot(x)) + csc(x)*1 -- there may be some simplification you can do, but I don't know how much that part matters. 4) remember that the square root of 'something' = (something)^(1/2), so you can rewrite the equation as y = x / (3x+1)^(1/2) Use the dividing derivative rule of [bottom * d(top) - top * d(bottom)] / bottom^2. [(3x+1)^(1/2)*1 - x(3x+1)^(1/2)] / {(3x+1)^(1/2)}^2 [(3x+1)^(1/2) - x*(3x+1)^(1/2)] / (3x+1) 5) not sure about the syntax on 5. It may be more clear if you use sqrt(x) or x^(1/2) to denote square roots.
Thanks for your help!
It's not A because "find" is not used. It's not B because "especially" is spelled correctly, so no correction is necessary
you may have written the second equation down wrong. if it is 2x-y=8 then the answer is (4,0)
I've tried that multiple times, but I was told the answer should be more than one. I get something around .07
change x+3y=4 to x=-3y+4. substitute that into the second equation to get 2(-3y+4)-y=8, then solve
i understand that an apparition is a ghost like image. These are the thought that are goin hrough my head, its a lonley guy walking down the street on christmas, he sees this pawnshop with the instruments in the window. To him its a ghostlike band and he is signifing that the town is dead becasue on a traditional christmas there could actually be a full band playing music. the tone is very gloom and depressing. i think im on the write track i just need to bring all my thoughts to one thesis so i can expand on that
gleaming golden and silver are all contrast with christmas. i still don't understand the significance of Latin Night other then the insturments are al found in lati bands and Martin Espada is latin, but hes living in Massachusettes. do Latino not celebrate christmas? the phrase idicates the lifless city, noone is out no shops are open becasue it is christmas
is the idea that latin culture in america is dieing out? i can answer all the points i just can put one main idea together. i can gather that he can not afford the instruments, and/or also latin cultural is dieing out or latin music is dieing
IB stands for international baccalaureate. it's a rigorous program, kinda like AP but with different requirements.
Thank you so much!
sorry, forgot to mention that its *cubic closest*
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!
Wow, thanks, now there is one more type I am stuck on and it is: 6y^2-24
Incredible. Thanks you two, you really helped me.
Woo! Thanks a lot DrBob.
I see, thanks a lot.
Ummm....huh?? I am more of a visual learner so maybe if it was worked out completly it would help a little more.
Assume that the amount of CH3COOH that ionizes is small compared with the initial concentration of the acid. Calculate Ka for the acid. Thank you
You forgot to reverse the greater than sign when dividing by a negative number. Take this example: -2*x < 10. Pick a number for x that satisfies the equation--: For instance, if x=3, then -2*(3) < 10 ----> -6 < 10 is true. Solved without flipping the less than sign makes your equation (with x plugged in) gives you 3 < 10/(-2) ---> 3 < -5 WRONG. Whenever you multiply or divide both sides of the equation by a negative number, you have to reverse the inequality. If in doubt, plug in a number for x that works in the first place, and see if it still works at the end.
Thank you

De-institutionalization of the mentally ill has had an enormous impact on the mentally ill, the community, family members and taxpayers. The family members of the mentally ill were adversely affected by the De-institutionalization of their mentally ill relatives as they have to pay the rising cost of care-giving for their relatives at home. The financial burden or impact on the family can be both objective and subjective.
Full-sentence outlines are more beneficial than topic outlines because an outline can be vague while a detailed sentence can serve as a great tool to help you write a better paper. If someone asked me “Wouldn’t it be simpler for me just to write my paper than to create a full-sentence outline?” I would say that it is a lot easier and more helpful to create a full-sentence outline than just going straight into writing my paper. My reason for doing that is: my thesis will help me generate the points for my outline. The steps that I will take to turn my outline into the body of my rough draft will be to make sure that every sub point is directly connected to the general topic. I have to ensure that no items interfere with another and they are organized in logical order such as importance and complexity. And the most important thing to remember is to check the research outline for consistency.

You're right Brandon. It is more important to be sound than valid when building arguments of importance.
Health-care facilities, such as Partners Health-Care use EMRs (Electronic medical records) to boost patient safety, manage chronic illnesses, and improve the efficiency of their practice. The EMR technology used at Partners HealthCare is secure. It gives their caregivers the same complete health information of a patient so that he or she receives safe and coordinated care. And, when doctors prescribe drugs through the EMR, drug allergies and drug interactions can be prevented. The EMR tool can also prescribe cost-effective drugs, when appropriate, to save everyone money. Advantages of EMR are: 1) Share patient information everywhere assessment, diagnosis and treatment decisions occur. 2) Reduce costs by shortening billing cycles and other core administrative and clinical operations - including storage and copying costs of medical records. 3) Direct data entry by clinicians and staff greatly reduces transcription costs. Direct links to a transcription system also saves time. 4) Create higher quality documentation (auditable, legible and organized charts and records). 5) Document visits to a consistent level of quality service. The disadvantages of EMRs that pose a significant risk to patients include the following: • Privacy: Many are concerned with the vulnerability and sensitivity of electronic records and others having access to their health information. • Accuracy: Who will be in charge of viewing, interpreting and entering health data into the system? Two challenges faced when implementing a universal EMR system are: 1) How to effectively manage this complex enterprise solution 2) How to provide high application performance over the wide-area network (WAN) without adding expensive T1 lines.
Slavery is an issue that creates animosity between many people. The equal rights, Black Power, and desegregation movements are all products from this idea. The concept of glass ceiling, walls, and escalator (this is a concept where one person can not move forward, upward, or even sideways in his or her career due to a racial issue) are other effects from slavery. Even continuing education (or lack of) for those in low income families can be seen as an effect from slavery because this prevents another person from moving forward in life. This is just one of many ways that slavery has influenced Black and White evolution in America. Slavery of the African-American race stereotyped them as lesser individuals that have influenced our society's views for both the white and black individuals of today. The African-American people have faced that for hundreds of years in all aspects of their lives. White America fears what equality really means. Facing this fear calls for true honesty of ourselves and our views and beliefs. A rejection of an individual's color, culture, and spiritual belief or lack of is a horrible loss for everyone.
Two approaches to measuring patient outcomes are: 1) Applying process management to occupational medicine – this process involves frequency and timing of patient visits, referral patterns for consultation and diagnostic testing. 2) Communication: physician-employer-patient – when physicians takes the time to call their patient’s employers to report on the patient’s condition, (if after an initial visit, the case does not follow the expected course) or activity status, those physicians not only achieve better outcomes in terms of the amount of disability that their patients incur, they also find an increased degree of satisfaction from both patients and employers. Health-care workers play very active roles in determining quality care for their patients. Some of these roles are: 1) Care givers make sure that the hospital or facility’s regulatory and monitoring frameworks are sufficient. 2) Health-care workers or providers help to maintain and strengthen the hospital or facility’s strong health and biomedical research infrastructure. 3) Care givers address the insufficient number of qualified health-care workers. 4) They give the consumers sufficient information on indicators of provider quality. 5) Health-care workers help to enhance the hospital or the facility’s health infrastructure. They also ensure its readiness in case of an emergency. You can add your own words to complete this assignment and find a reference too.
This is an example of an annotated bibliography below. First, you put the reference, then a very short summary about the main points of the essay. Without the summary, it's just a reference, get it? Hope this helps. 1) Wilson, A.M. (1998). Public Schools Dress Codes: The constitutional debate. Brigham Young University Education and Law Journal p147 Retrieved May 11 2008 from Apollo library (Jiskha site wouldn't allow me post an internet address) This is an excellent article that examines the constitutional protection of speech and expression as applied to public school dress codes in the United States. It also gives the reader a more in depth look at how school violence and crime has gone down considerably in different schools after the implementation of school uniforms.
Kayla, D is the answer. The correct sentence should be "I credit my success to luck and determination". That answer is probably in response to the question "who do you give credit to for your success?"
Let's see 3+1= 3+2= 3+3= etc...
i solved for the longer equation and got a=b+4 i put that in the smaller equation and got b-2=b iam confused
when i solve for the variables i cancel everything and i don't get an answer
you are buying beads and string to make a necklace. The string coast $1.50; A pack of 10 decorative beads costs $0.50; And a pack of 25 plain beads costs $0.75. You can only spend $7.00 and you need 150 beads. You wish the necklace to be as decrative as possiable. How many packs of each type of bead should you buy?
These kids should learn to type properly, Anyway back onto subject...er well nothing for me to really answer lol, All been done in the previous questions.
Also , another similar question that I am having trouble with is lim as x->0 (tan^3 (2x))/(x^3)
Thanks for the help, I know what to do now. :D
Ohhh, thanks Damon!
So is the answer 74.2g? Or did i do something wrong?
two sports that are needed ball to ball
Confused and Jason, same person? Chemistry itself is definitely not pointless. Imagine where you'd be without the miracles that chemistry presents us in everyday life: Plastics, Medicine, Cars, Reliable Machines, Colors in Clothing and Other Products, Flavored Drinks, Batteries, Electronics. I am glad the people who brought us these products didn't decide to ignore chemistry.
How did you find that value for K?
Well for the first part I know you need a verb (ser) so I think son should be in there and i am pretty sure it is mis since lasses is plural. and for the second part you could say you don't like them instead of you don't enjoy them which would be no me gusta.
Molecular weight os AgNO3 = 169.87 You have 29.66 g, therefore you have 29.66 / 169.87 moles = 0.174 moles. This is in 100 ml. Molarity is moles per liter, so, 0.174 x (1000/100) = 1.75. Concentration of the solution = 1.75 M. Worked out with chemCal for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
1. a toy that I had, when young, was a black bear, that I bought in a store. 2. una amiga de infancia ( literally is: a friend from when I was an infant) however is one of those translations that you adapt to the language, so I would say: Sarah is a friend that I know since childhood, she is very nice 3. when I was a child I used to like to dress up with my grandfathers hat.
For information on moles and molar have a look at: cal.culate.it/moles and cal.culate.it/molarity
please, can anyone help us?
the formula said 23%
"5.61 moles of KCl and 2.11 kg of water?" Well, water has a density of 1g/ml. So, 2.11 kg, is 2.11 liters. Therefore you have 5.61 moles in 2.11 liters. Molar is moles per liter, therefore, 5.61 / 2.11 = 2.66 M. For help on moles and molar have a look at cal.culate.it/moles
"18 M sulfuric acid is need to prepare 250 ml of a 6.0 M solution" - this is an M1V1 = M2V2 type problem. For help have a look at cal.culate.it/dilution. Meanwhile, using chemCal on the iPhone (cal.culate.it/c) the answer is: 83.3 ml
thanks
Do you mean a bar or a line?
Thank you.
I believe you would have to convert the hours to minutes than add the two: Input Reading Time Hours Input Readig Time Minutes Input Assignment Time Hours Input Assignment Time Minutes ReadingTime = (hours * 60) + minutes AssignmentTime = (hours * 60) + minutes Total Time = (ReadingTime + AssignmentTime)

i am working on a math project and i need 10 different representations of the number 256..its due tomorrow
This has to do with area. Determining the perimiter would only tell you how many tiles you would need for surrounding the bathroom with tiles. Area would cover the whole bathroom.
There is a solution. The solution is an imaginary number.
I would put "Ceux qui ne fument pas sont genes (put accent aigus on both "e"") par les autres qui fument . Not necessary to say les autres gens (we assume already it is people) Do not use bouleverses (it is more emotional)

1- At the bottom of the classes were Slaves and Farmers - they represented the greatest percent of the Egyptian population. The workers supported the professionals above them, just as the base of the pyramid supports the rest of the structure 2- Above were skilled Craftsmen 3- Scribes. 4- Priests, doctors, and engineers. 5- High Priests and Nobles - they served as generals and administrators, and formed the government. 6- The Vizier was the Pharaoh's closest advisor. 7- Finally, at the top of the social status pyramid was the Pharaoh. He was not simply a ruler, but was considered a god on earth.

Yes, I agree. I have used synthetic division to solve for 3+i and 3-i, giving me two answers. But because the highest degree of exponents is x^4 then I can expect to find four answers right?
its m = molal

I did the moles of Cl found/1 L = .00863. 1.8e-10 / .00863 = 2.1e-8 * 1 L = 2.1e-8 moles .0010 / 2.1e-8 = 47619 L*1000 mL / .5 but the answer comes out wrong=/
Essentially you look for key words. "At most", "no more than", "does not exceed", etc. would mean less than or equal too. Taking your example, if the cost is at most $4857.95, then it could be less, but it cannot be more. When x is less than or equal too y, x can be less, than, equal to, but not more than y.
That depends on the density of the object along with bouyancy. A 2g rock will sink in water whereas a 2000 kg boat will not (if made right). It doesnt matter what something weighs. An object floats because it displaces an amount of water equal to or more than its own weight. A boat that weighs 2000 kg will float becuase its shape displaces enough water. The 2 kg rock's shape does not displace enough water, and it sinks. For your question, either the object needs to be really big/wide (to displace the liquid) or be less dense than the liquid. From the info you gave, we can't answer your question.
Chain Rule with single variable: d/dx [3(2x-4)^2] =6(x-4)(2)=12x-48 Chain Rule with multiple variables: d/dx [3y^2] =6y(dy/dx) The y and the (x-4) terms serve a similar function. You technically use the chain rule all the time. The derivative of a variable, like x, is simply 1. So taking the derivative of 3x^2 is really easy. d/dx [3x^2] =6x(1) But (2x-4) and y aren't the same as x, and neither are the derivatives. So the chain rule will produce something appreciable. The derivative of 2x-4 is 2, so it affects the expression (whereas the derivative of x is simply one, and multiplying by one changes nothing). Y is also not equal to x. Because we are differentiating with respect to x, d/dx of y cant be 1. And we don't know anything else about y, so all we can do is say that dy/dx equals... well dy/dx.
yes i used the ame formula but didn't get the correct ans. cn u help me solve it. i want ans to be 6.5 inch (0.165 meters).
Economyst, why do you bother posting things like "I agree" for mutiple choice questions? Your opinion doesn't matter if "agree or disagree" aren't even options for a viable answer champ.
So you go to Keystone Online Highschool? 9th grade? Me too. These answers were very helpful in me constructing my own answers. And you made many spelling errors, you also only had 1 space instead of 2 spaces after a period in many places. You should try putting your papers into a spell checker before submitting them. You can lose points of bad spelling/punctuation.
It was very well written, I hope you got a good grade.

cosA = adj/hyp tanA = opp/adj sinA = opp/hyp
Ok, so if I change it to 2x^2 to x-5 of square root of Sin(x)dx, does it make sense? We haven't done any examples with an x in both the top and bottom of the integral sign. Thanks
sin of angle = opp/hyp (SOH) cos of angle = adj/hyp (CAH) tan of angle = opp/adj (TOA)
