I might be wrong but I believe it would be A

No because I was out sick for a week and they never gave me any make up work to do.

No because I was out sick for a week and they never gave me any make up work to do. But if it isn't B, then I would think it would be C, but at first I wasn't sure if the question meant develop as a child or develop as a ruler.
