Sorry, English is no my first language. That was the wording of the question I was given, I was very confused reading it.
That's what I'm asking about, I'm not sure what the "exact value" is. In fact, I'm not really sure if I've got the right "related acute angle"

So a polynomial function has at most n-1 turning points, not n turning points? So that's why #1 is false?
Thank you oobleck, just one more thing: I think you accidentially put the wrong equation, my equation is x^3 + x^2 -20x
So I factored by grouping and got a) x[(x+5)(x-4)] 0 I plugged the numbers into desmos, but I'm still having difficulty understanding what exactly this means
