Hi here is my question: Solve: (x-3)/x+3/x2=-6/x^2+2x For my solutions, I got -2 and 0, but the problem is, when I plug the numbers back in, I have zero in the denominator which I know you can't have. I'm not sure what I did wrong, or is it just undefined...

Solve: (x+5/x)+(6/x-4)=(-7/x^2-4x) I multiplied the entire function by x and x-4 and after doing that I got down to the quadratic equation x^2+7x-13=0 I did the quadratic and got x=1.525 and -8.525 I feel like I made a mistake because when I plug in both...

So basically, I have to guess and check. 20 X 20 would be the smallest but is a square. How about 16 X 25 = 82? I would much rather have a mathematical way to go about it.
