I'm helping my student with this and this is what we came up with... First, make sure to download the template in the assignment. It will make things a lot easier. Step 1 is self explanatory (pick a breed from the list). Step 2. Add the number of years to the dog's age at 2 in human years. Example: For a small dog, you would add 4 to 23, and continue adding 4 for each year. (23+4=27, 27+4=31, 31+4=35). For a medium dog, you would add 5 to 24, and continue adding 5 for each year, etc. Step 3. In the instructions, it says to use (x-2) in each expression. We started with that and then multiplied the "Age in increase each year" (i.e., 4,5,6, or 7) and then added the "Age at 2 in human years" (i.e., 23, 24, 22, or 20) to get the expression for each breed. I'm not going to post all the answers, but I think that should give you all a good start. Hope this helps!
