I am still on this weight and elevation question. w=Cr^2 for r= r= quare root c/w Suppose that an object is 100 pounds at sea level. find the vlaue of C tat makes sense. Sea level is 3963 miles from the center of the earth. Wouldn't this be 100=C/(3963)^2
so- D/1.2=the square root h Long's Peak in the rocky mountains is 14,255 feet I need to get the number of miles 5280 or 2.7 miles? then divide that by 1.2 or 2.25 miles?
