Because when your dancing you want people to see different levels. like low medium and high. it gives them more to look at and it looks alot cooler. Movements should be big and full out.
the answer is 2 because 6+6=12 and 6 times 2=12
maybe your not looking at the exact color of shade. confusions like that happen a lot.
