KE1=PE1 in the end should actually be... h1=(m+m1)(u^2)/2*g*(m+m1) where the sum of the masses cancel and you're left with: (u^2)/2*g

I'm sorry, when I was looking at my problem the answer choices were A. m=-2 and B. m=2 so I accidentally mixed it up and put A. as m= 2 instead of -2 I was thinking it was either m=-2 or m= - 1/2 Thanks!!!
