Those are all the numbers in the problem. I worked further in the problem and found... (a) 15.9/20.29= 78.54% and for part (b) I found that 20.29g of MgCO3 makes .24mol CO2. So.... Pressure of CO2 = 12.54 atm. Does that seem right?
So that would give you .39 mol. Which would then give you P = 20.77 atm. I see what you are saying about the numbers in this problem. Unfortunately my teachers often gives problems that seem to have something missing, and I don't know what to do about it....

lets start by multiplying out the brackets 8g+416-96=504+6g-84 then combine the like terms 8g+320=420+6g we then group the g's on one side and our numbers on the other 8g-6g=420-320 which leaves us with 2g=100 meaning g=50 hope this helped post back if u...

I'll answer 2. to get rid of the y's we make this a simultaneous equation (1)4x-y=-9 (2)3Y-2X=7 the number of y's must be equal so that they will cancel eachother out when we add them together so 3*(1)=12x-3y=-27 then we do (1)+(2) 12x-3y+3y-2x=-27+7 hope...

if this is your code Private Function F(x as Int, y As Int, z as Int) If (y = 1) then Return 2 Else Return x * Z - y + F(x-1,y-1, z) End If End Function what is your test data. if you test this code with y=1 then you will get an answer of 2, else Return x...

substitute in what you can from the info you are given in this case change 'A' to 'D+E' this gives us D/D+E =0.35 & D+E/E see if you can take it from here

sure would :)

sorry the answer to the original question is 21,100,000. the example i used would be 22,000,000 because this has been rounded to the nearest 100,000 but in doing so we have reached another million, make sense?

density is given by mass/volume so if the density is 1.53 g/L then we rearrange the formula to find the mass which just happens to be 1.53grams due to there only being 1 litre so depending on whether the question is asking for how many moles of NAOH or ho...

I5p+12I = 7 there will most likely be 2 solutions if we treat it as 5p+12= +or-7 then it may be easier to see what is happening (if we get an answer of -7 from the equation, it will be changed back to +7 by the absolute value) so we have 2 equations now (...

acceleration due to gravity must be factored in as the rocket is traveling upwards. since you have chosen up to be positive acceleration down must be negative, making gravity -9.8m/s the equation is still force=mass x acceleration accept the formula used...

the second answer would be -70 technically all square roots have two answers, when you multiply two negative numbers you get a positive number

no i don't think the weight will be increasing after getting rid of the water. work out the molar mass of hydrated magnesium carbonate, then find the ratio of water to the whole thing in regard to molar mass eg M(MgCO3*5H20)= 144 M(5H2O) = 70 ratio = 70/1...

apologies M(MgCO3*5H20) = 154 ratio = 70/154 = 0.4545 so 45.5% is water, same process as above just use this value instead
