Okay. That's true, 3 meters is a pretty wide space. I figured out the first dimension, it's 29.8 m. I still need the second dimension so I can figure out the area of the fenced space.

Okay. Thank you very much. I had a feeling that the answer at the back was wrong, I tried many solutions, and it didn't work. So you're probably right. :)
The question says that the diameter is 8 cm, and then it asks to fnd the perimeter. I found the answer using your formula but when I checked the back of the book, it said the answer was 20.56 cm, not 25.12 cm.

how would you know how much each is worth? if you look it up in the periodic table.... is it always the same number amount of atoms for the elements?

correction..: how would you solve this equation? the height of a triangle is 2m more than the base. The area is 17.5m^2. Find the length of the base. it's height.. not measurement..
