IGNORE THE LAST ONE ON (fog)(x). IT IS WRONG. It should be f(g(x)), where 3x^2 substitutes for x in f(x). It becomes 2(3x^2)+5. If it were g(f(x)), it would be opposite.
f(x)=2x+5;g(x)=3x^2 which expression is equal to (Fog)(x)? (Fog)(x) means f(x)*g(x). If f(x)=2x+5 and g(x)=3x^2, then you can substitute them. The expression becomes (2x+5)*(3x^2). Simplify
Which expression is equal to (f+g)(x)? f(x)=x^2+3;g(x)=x-1 (f+g)(x) is the same as f(x)+g(x). If f(x)=x^2+3 and g(x)=x-1, you can substitute them out. The expression becomes (x^2+3)+(x-1). Simplify
