ugh my bad the information I'm given is: O2 ==> 2 O(g)ΔHºrxn=498kJ/mol O(g) + O2(g) ==> O3ΔHºrxn = /106kJ/mol I think what I'm supposed to do is change the two reactions I'm given by either reversing them or multiplying by a coefficient, then doing the sa...

1 *(O2 ==> 2 O(g)ΔHºrxn=498kJ/mol) 2 * (O(g) + O2(g) ==> O3ΔHºrxn = -106kJ/mol) O2 + 2O + 2O2 ==> 2O + 2O3 3O2 ==> 2O3 498-212=286ΔHºrxn is that right? and if so, how did you know which numbers to multiply each equation by?

If your first equation is x^(1/3) - 2/5 =0 then x= (2/5)^3 = (2^3)/(5^3) = (8/125) = 0.064 for your second equation I believe you should do the following: (x-4)^3/2 = -6 First raise both to the 2/3 power to get rid of the ^3/2. (((x-4)^3/2)^(2/3)))=(-6)^(...

I think they are two separate questions and since the -6 is on the right sideto find x one would square both sides and find the cube of that result then subtract add four. I could be mistaken.

Tell him theta was just a random representative and in no way correlated with radians/degrees.

And your question is? Do you want simplification? If so: (81y^30)/(2z) should fit the bill. Remember when you have powers inside a bracket taken to another power outside of the bracket ex: (2x^2)^3 The powers multiply together, so (2x^2)^3=(2^3)(x^6). As...

(3/4)(1/5)(3/10)=9/200 Multiply all of the values on top for the numerator. Multiply all of the values on the bottom of the fractions for the denominator. Is that a 6*(2/3)/(10/21)? If so: =(12/3)/(10/21) = 4 / (10/21) = (4*21)/10 = 84/10 = 8.4

Ok, I'm kind of confused. A log's base typically 10 right? Why would you write log 3^(2-x)? Shouldn't it be log(sub3) 2-x) ?
16 years ago
Yeah, it was to solve for A. I assumed it was to multiply by 3. Seeing as 4^3 = 64. log(sub a) 4 = .321
