I agree. You need to read and re-read the material sometimes before fully understanding the "big picture". I used to cram when I was younger and it only got me C's and sometimes the unthinkable...yikes!
That's correct because it turns out the negatives turn into positives.
I don't understand...do you take 50(t-2)=25*t? If so, I didn't come out with the right answer on question one for the same distance. I just have a hard time understanding these comparison problems.
The right to write begins here.
I like B. However, if you are trying to talk to the parent without Joshua's presence, be more specific when talking to him. "Joshua, go over to the block center. There are new cars!
Your expression for y is incorrect, try this instead... A) y is inversely proportional to (x-1) if there exists a non-zero constant k such that y = k/(x-1). B) Given that when y=5 x=3, we can solve for k in y = k/(x-1) as follows: 5 = k/(3-1) 5 = k/2 5(2) = k [cross multiply] 10 = k or k=10 Check the result: Substitute k=10 when y=5 and x=3: y = k/(x-1) 5 = 10/(3-1) 5 = 10/2 5 = 5 is true, therefore k=10 is correct Now, substituting k=10, find x when y =25: y = k/(x-1) 25 = 10/(x-1) 25(x-1) = 10 [cross multiply] 25x - 25 = 10 25x - 25 + 25 = 10 + 25 25x = 35 x = 35/25 or x=7/5 Check the result: Substitute x=7/5 when y=25 and k=10: y = k/(x-1) 25 = 10/((7/5) - 1) 25((7/5) - 1) = 10 [cross multiply 25 ((7/5) - (5/5)) = 10 25 (2/5) = 10 25(2)/5 = 10 50/5 = 10 10 = 10 is true, therefore x=7/5 is correct
Definition of Similar Polygons: Two polygons containing vertices that can be paired so that the corresponding angles are congruent and the corresponding sides are in proportion. ST and XY are corresponding sides. TU and YZ are corresponding sides. By the definition, corresponding sides are in proportion, therefore they can be expressed as a ratio: ST/XY = TU/YZ Substitute the given values for XY, YZ, ST, TU into this equation: ST/XY = TU/YZ (4c+2)/32 =(5c+2)/36 Cross Multiply: 36(4c+2) = 32(5c+2) Divide both sides by 4 (to simplify): (36(4c+2))/4 = (32(5c+2))/4 9(4c+2) = 8(5c+2) 36c + 18 = 40c + 16 Subtract 36c from both sides 36c - 36c + 18 = 40c - 36c + 16 18 = 4c + 16 Subtract 16 from both sides: 18 - 16 = 4c + 16 - 16 2 = 4c Divide both sides by 4: 2/4 = (4c)/4 Simplify: 1/2 = c or c=1/2 Now substitute c=1/2 into the equations for ST and TU: ST= 4c + 2 = 4(1/2) + 2 = 2 + 2 = 4 ST=4 TU= 5c + 2 = 5(1/2) + 2 = 5/2 + 2 = 5/2 + 4/2 = 9/2 TU = 9/2 Check results: Substitute ST=4, TU=9/2 and XY= 32, YZ= 36 into the ratio: ST/XY = TU/YZ 4/32 = (9/2)/36 Cross Multiply: 4(36) = 32(9/2) 144 = 16(9) 144 = 144 is correct, so values for XY and YZ are correct
TERMS Consider the expression: 15x + 9ab - 8 - 10ab + 5a + x - b A term can be a number, a variable (letter) or the product of a number and variable(s). Terms can be positive or negative. The sign of the term is determined by the operation directly in front of the term. A term is positive(+) if it has no sign and it is the first term in the expression. A term is positive(+) if the preceding operation is addition. A term is negative(-) if the preceding operation is subtraction. In the expression above, the terms are: 15x, 9ab, -8, -10ab, 5a, x, -b 15x is a product of a number and a variable 9ab is a product of a number and two variables -8 is a number -10ab is a product of a number and two variables 5a is product of a number and a variable x is a variable -b is a variable Note: 15x is a positive term, because it has no sign and it is the first term. 9ab, 5a, and x are all positive terms, because the terms are preceded by addition. -8, -10ab, -b are negative terms, because the terms are preceded by subtraction. Constants: A term with no variables is a constant. In the expression the only constant is -8. COEFFICENTS: Only terms with variables have coefficients. The coefficient is the number located at the front of the term including the sign of the term. If a variable term does not have a number at the front, then: if the term is positive, the coefficient is 1 if the term is negative, the coefficient is -1 In the expression: 15 is the coefficient of 15x 9 is the coefficient of 9ab -10 is the coefficient of -10ab 5 is the coefficient of 5a 1 is the coefficient of x -1 is the coefficient of -b LIKE TERMS: Like terms are terms that have the same variables in them. In the expression: 15x and -x are "like terms" because they both have the variable x. 9ab and -10ab are "like terms" because they both have the product of variables ab.
1st Step: Find Least Common Denominator, which is 6. Convert each number to equivalent fraction with denominator 6. 1/3 + (-5/6) + (-1/2) = (1/3)(2/2) + (-5/6) + (-1/2)(3/3) = 2/6 + (-5/6) + (-3/6) Convert all addition operations followed by negative numbers to subtraction of a positive number: 2/6 - 5/6 - 3/6 = Perform the operations from left to right: (2/6 - 5/6) - 3/6 = -3/6 - 3/6 = -6/6= -1
Subtract the right side from both sides, leaving zero on the right side. [(x-1)/(x+2)] - [x/(x-2)] >= 0 Get common denominator. Multiply first term by (x-2)/(x-2). Multiply second term by (x+2)/(x+2). [(x-2)(x-1)]/[(x-2)(x+2)] - [(x+2)x]/[(x+2)(x-2)] >= 0 Multiply. (x^2 - x - 2x + 2)/(x^2 - 4) - (x^2 + 2x)/(x^2 - 4) >= 0 Combine the terms into one rational expression: (x^2 - 3x + 2 - x^2 - 2x)/(x^2 - 4) >= 0 Simplify: (-5x + 2)/(x^2 - 4) >= 0 Find the value of x that will satisfy the equality part of the inequality. Determine what value of x will make this true: (-5x + 2)/(x^2 - 4) = 0 To do this, determine what value of x will make numerator equal to zero: -5x + 2 = 0 -5x + 2 - 2 = 0 - 2 -5x = -2 x = 2/5 Thus, when x=2/5, the rational expression on the right side will be equal to zero. x = 2/5 is a solution Determine which value(s) of x will make the rational expression undefined. To do this, determine what value of x will make denominator equal to zero: x^2 - 4 = 0 x^2 = 4 x = 2, x = -2 Thus, when x = 2 or x = -2, the rational expression on the right side will be undefined. x = 2 and x = -2 are not solutions So far, we know that x = -2 is not a solution x = 2/5 is a solution x = 2 is not a solution. We need to choose four values for x to represent all the possible values of x to determine all the valid solutions. Choose an x value less than -2 Choose an x value between -2 and 2/5 Choose an x value between 2/5 and 2 Choose an x value greater than 2 Choose an x value less than -2: x = -3 Substitute this into the inequality: (-5x + 2)/(x^2 - 4) >= 0 (-5(-3) + 2)/((-3)^2 - 4) >= 0 (15 + 2)/(9 - 4) >= 0 17/5 >= 0 is true So x values less than -2 are solutions. Choose an x value between -2 and 2/5: x = -1 Substitute this into the inequality: (-5x + 2)/(x^2 - 4) >= 0 (-5(-1) + 2)/((-1)^2 - 4) >= 0 (5 + 2)/(1 -4) >= 0 7/-3 >= 0 or -7/3 >= 0 is not true So x values beteen -2 and 2/5 are not solutions. Choose an x value between 2/5 and 2: x = 1 Substitute this into the inequality: (-5x + 2)/(x^2 - 4) >= 0 (-5(1) + 2)/((1)^2 - 4) >= 0 (-5 + 2)/(1 - 4) >= 0 -3/-3 >= 0 or 1 >= 0 is true So x values between 2/5 and 2 are solutions. Choose an x value greater than 2: x = 3 Substitute this into the inequality: (-5x + 2)/(x^2 - 4) >= 0 (-5(3) + 2)/((3)^2 - 4) >= 0 (-15 + 2)/(9 - 4) >= 0 -13/5 >= 0 is not true. So x values greater than 2 are not solutions. So we now know that: x values less than -2 are solutions x = -2 is not a solution x values beteen -2 and 2/5 are not solutions x = 2/5 is a solution x values between 2/5 and 2 are solutions x = 2 is not a solution x values greater than 2 are not solutions Therefore the solutions for this inequality are represented as: -infinity < x < -2 and 2/5 <= x < 2 (-infinity, -2) and [2/5, 2)
Note: small correction to my previous answer... Both occurrences of "rational expression on the right side" should be replaced with just "rational expression".

I am very confused on this, any more help available?
Thank you, but I need to figure out how to put this in an equation form for algebra. I am not good with word problems and need some help.
Hi Ms Sue, I need to write this in equation form.
Thanks for the tip
Need a helpful website that i can read to help explain the following question. or some insight on this question. Between 1968 and 1980, the US economy experienced a slowdown in productivity growth. However, since the mid 1980s, the economy has experienced increases in the growth rate in productivity. Can you give reasons why US productivity growth started to increase during the late 1980s and continued throughout the decade of the 1990s?
Thanks so much! If I may pick at your brain, how did you know to draw the isosceles triangle at the top and the large triangle inside the octogan to solve this problem.I didn't even consider this.
Thanks again. I really appreciate it.
I am working with a graph and if at every 5.6 km you cut in half the atmospheric mass. So at 16.8 km wouldn't you have 12.5% of the atmosphere above and 87.5% would be below?
Sorry forgot to post the answers, which one would it be?? And can you show how you solved it?? A-3 B-7 C-17 D-35 Thanks
Ok I got it. Its process of elimination. So it would be B-7.
I am trying to post a quote for his Senior Night Soccer Board about Matt. It has a MATT on the Board.
Yes or a soccer ball always has been in his feet since the age of 4.
Ok the first quote would be better what you have change. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for answering jim. So, for a. that would be $4000 + 6%. or is it 3%? diveded by 6 months? I'm really confused by this one.
Thanks. And for b. I subtract 4000 from 5754.08 to get the interest?
Ok thank you. How did you get the 101.2% for c.
Alright, I no I'm a little slow with this, but can you explain the numbers 1.06^12 - 1)*100. 1.06 is the 6% right? what is the ^12-1 and 100. Sorry to be a pain, this is the first time I'm doing this type of thing.
I'll give it a shot. Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it.
Jim, quick question. What it I wanted to to invest the $4,000 in the high-interest savings account. Which is the savings account that pays 3% compounded daily. How do you multiply the daily number? multiply the 4,000*3%*365
Thanks again, really appreciate it.
Wait, is there a way to do this on a calculator? Like 1.03*365
Thanks so much Jim.
What would I receive at the end of 6 months?
What value would I receive at the end of 6 months?
Thanks guys

I am extremely excited about beginning my medical transcription career with you at Mayo Health Systems and look forward to making a positive impact in the lives of your patients. While your doctor is looking at your chart in the hospital, it isn’t often that a patient thinks about the work involved to make sure that their chart is accurate. I first realized this immense task when my dad recently battled and won his fight against cancer, which could not have been done without his amazing medical team. An important part of this team was the medical transcriptionists working behind the scenes making sure that his medical records were accurate, through, and prompt. Inspired by this fact, I looked further into the career of medical transcription and became enthused to join ranks in this vital profession. In this fast paced career I could make an important contribution that would affect peoples’ lives. To do so I started my training at Penn Foster Career School in Pennsylvania. My training has involved taking courses in Office Procedures, Body Systems and Terminology, Basic Pharmacology, Confidentiality of Allied Health, and Medical Transcription. With the education I have gained and the enthusiasm for the profession I have chosen, I know that I can be a vital part of the Mayo Health Systems team serving your patients.
This is my essay. Thanks for your help!! In this essay we will compare and contrast the perceptions of South African parents and non-parents on what makes a perfect parent. We will do this by using the 16 factors of Levitt and Dubner (2009) in an interview schedule and interview a chosen sample that consists of two groups, namely a set of five parents and set of five non-parents. The majority of my sample consisted of work colleagues and the balance was made up of family and friends. Once I had done all the interviews and collated all the interview schedules, I analysed the responses for each question in the form of a table. My findings are discussed below. Forty percent of both groups agreed that having highly educated parents does have an influence on a child’s success at school. However sixty percent of both groups agreed that having highly educated parents does not have an influence on a child’s success at school but that inherited genes and good family values had more of an impact This is in contrast to Levitt and Dubner (2009) correlation that this factor had a positive effect on a child’s success at school. The majority of the parents group agreed that a child’s success at school is not related to whether their family is intact. This is in agreement with the findings of Levitt and Dubner (2009). But 60% of non parents agreed that having a stable family environment does influence a child’s success at school. However twenty percent of the parent group disagreed and stated that this could have a strong impact from an emotional perspective on a child. Eighty percent of the parents group agreed having a high socio economic status does not guarantee that a child will be successful at school. While sixty percent of the non parents agreed that having a high socio economic status does have an influence on a child’s success at school. But twenty percent in the parent group and forty percent in the non parent group did not agree and based their view that children who have a high socio economic status are lazy and they will rely on their parent’s wealth, whereas children who come from a poorer background will work harder in order to improve their future. This view is in contrast to the view of Levitt and Dubner (2009) as their findings strongly agree that this factor is strong indicator of success. The majority of both groups agreed that living in a good neighbourhood does have an influence on a child success at school. But two percent of the non parents group disagreed and considered the type of friends that children associate with in the neighbourhood would have an influence on the child’s success at school. In the non parent group sixty percent agreed that if a woman has her first child at the age of thirty it will have no impact on the child’s success at school, while forty percent in the parent group agreed that it would have an influence on the child’s success at school. However twenty percent of the parent group was unsure as to whether having a baby at the age of thirty would have an impact on the child’s success at school. According to the majority of the non parent group if the mother stayed at home from birth until the child went to school it would not have an impact on the child’s success at school. On the other hand the majority of the parents group agreed that if the mother stayed at home it would have an influence on a child’s success at school. However two percent of the parents group agreed with the non parents group. The majority of both groups conceded that having a low birth weight does not have an influence on a child’s success at school. But one percent was unsure as to whether a low birth weight could have an impact on a child success at school. Both groups unanimously agreed that if a child attended extra enrichment programmes, it would assist in identifying the child’s weakness and strength and therefore it would have an effect on a child’s success at school. Sixty percent of the parent group believes that if English is spoken at home it will have an impact on a child’s success at school. However two percent of the parent group is unsure. On the other hand 60% of the non parent group disagrees and concedes that speaking English at home will not have an influence on a child’s success at school. In the parents group sixty percent agreed that if parents took their child regularly to museums’ it would have an impact on whether the child would be successful at school but forty percent disagreed. In contrast eighty percent of the non parents were in agreement that if parents took their child regularly to museums’ it would not have an impact on whether the child would be successful at school while only twenty percent disagreed. The entire parents group unanimously agreed that a child’s adoption does not have an impact on the child success at school. Whereas eighty percent of the non parents concluded that a child’s adoption does have an impact on the child success at school. However 20 percent of the non parent group was in agreement with the parents group. The majority of both groups agreed that smacking a child regularly does not have an influence on a child’s success at school. However twenty percent in the parent group believed that smacking a child regularly does have an influence on a child’s success at school, while twenty percent in the non parent group was unsure. Similarly the majority of both groups were in agreement that a parent’s involvement with the school governing Body /PTA does not have an impact on how successful a child is at school. But twenty percent in both groups believed that parents who were involved with the school governing Body /PTA do have an impact on how successful a child is at school. The majority of both groups agreed that there is a connection between a child’s success at school and how much television they watch. However twenty percent of the non parent group disagreed and considered it beneficial for the child success at school. The majority of both groups were in agreement that if a child has many books it would have an impact on how successful a child will be at school. However twenty percent of the non parent group and forty percent of the parents group disagreed and stated that if the child actually read the books then it might have an impact on the child’s success at school. All of the participants in the parents group agreed that if parents read to their child every night it would influence the child’s success at school. Similarly eighty percent of the non parents group agreed with the parent group. However twenty percent of the non parent did not agree and argued that emotionally it might make the child feel more grounded and secure, but felt that it would not have an impact on a child’s success at school.
This was my instructions Write an essay in which you compare and contrast the perceptions of South African parents and non-parents in the question of what makes a perfect parent. Use the 16 factors set out by Levitt and Dubner (2009). You need to interview 5 people who are parents and 5 who are not. This is my 16 questions that I had to ask the parents and non-parents Interview Schedule for Parents Name: Age: Sex: Children (How many & ages): Sex of children: Questions 1. Do you think that having highly educated parents is related to a child’s success at school? (Why?) 2. Do you think that a child’s school success is related to whether the family is intact or they are a product for single parent family or a divorced family or orphaned. 3. Do you think that there is a link between having a high socio economics status and child’s schools success? 4. Does living in a good neighbourhood influence a child success at school? 5. If a woman has her first child at the age of thirty, do you think it would have an impact on the child’s success at school? 6. Do you think if a mother stayed at home, from the birth of her child until the child went to crèche/nursery school, it would have an impact on the child’s success at school? 7. Do you think that a child who had a low birth weight would have more success at school? 8. If a child attended extra enrichment programmes (smartkids, kumon ), do you think the child would be more successful at school? 9. Would speaking English at home have an impact on a child’s success at school? 10. Do you think if parents took their child regularly to museums’ it would have an impact on whether the child would be successful at school? 11. Do you think if a child is adopted it would have an impact on the child success at school? 12. Do you think that there is a relation between a child’s school success and how regularly they are smacked (given hidings?) 13. Would a parent’s involvement with the school governing Body /PTA have an impact on how successful a child is at school? 14. Do you think that there is a connection between a child’s school success and how much television they watch? 15. Do you think if a child has many books it would have an impact on how successful a child will be at school? 16. Do you think if parents read to their child every night it would influence the child’s success at school?
Revised essay In this essay we will compare and contrast the perceptions of South African parents and non-parents on what makes a perfect parent. We will do this by using the 16 factors of Levitt and Dubner (2009) in an interview schedule and interview a chosen sample that consists of two groups, namelyone set of five parents and one set of five non-parents. The majority of my sample consisted of work colleagues and the balance was made up of family and friends. Once I had done all the interviews and collated all the interview schedules, I analysed the responses for each question in the form of a table. While forty percent of both groups agreed that having highly educated parents does have an influence on a child’s success at school, sixty percent of the parent group agreed that having highly educated parents does not have an influence on a child’s success at school.Similarly sixty percent of the non-parent group also agreed that this factor does not have an impact on the childs success at school. They believed that self motivation and determination would have an impact on a child’s success at school. Eighty percent of the parent group agreed that a child’s success at school is not related to whether their family is intact. Whereas sixty percent of non parents agreed that having a stable family environment does influence a child’s success at school. However forty percent of the non-parent group disagreed and held the view that open communication and the values that you instil in the child will determine the childs success at school and not whether their family is intact or not. The majority of parent group took the view that having a high socio economic status does not guarantee that a child will be successful at school. In contrast sixty percent of the non parents agreed that having a high socio economic status does have an influence on a child’s success at school. But twenty percent in the parent group based their view that children who have a high socio economic status are lazy and they will rely on their parent’s wealth, whereas children who come from a poorer background will work harder in order to improve their future. The entire parent group agreed that living in a good neighbourhood does have an influence on a child success at school. Likewise eighty percent of the non-parent group agreed that living in a good neighbourhood does have an influence on a child success at school. But twenty percent of the non-parent group disagreed and considered the type of friends that children associate with in the neighbourhood would have an influence on the child’s success at school. Forty percent of the parent group agreed that if a woman has her first child at the age of thirty it will it would have an influence on the child’s success at school. In contrast sixty percent of the non parent group agreed that if a woman has her first child at the age of thirty it will have no impact on the child’s success at school However twenty percent of the parent group was unsure as to whether having a baby at the age of thirty would have an impact on the child’s success at school. The majority of the parents group agreed that if the mother stayed at home it would have an influence on a child’s success at school. This is in contrast to the non-parent group where the sixty percent held the view that if a mother stayed at home from birth until the child went to school it would not have an impact on the child’s success at school. However forty percent of the non parent group disagreed and felt that the a stay at home parent provides the child a stable enviroment and encourages emotional stability. The majority of the parent group conceded that having a low birth weight does not have an influence on a child’s success at school. Similarly the entire non-parent group also conceded that having a low birth weight does not have an influence on a child’s success at school. But twenty percent of the parent group was unsure if this factor had an impact on a childs success at school. The parent group unanimously agreed that if a child attended extra enrichment programmes it would assist in identifying the child’s weakness and strength and therefore it would have an effect on a child’s success at school. Likewise the entire non parent group also unanimously agreed that this factor would have an impact. Sixty percent of the parent group believed that if English is spoken at home it will have an impact on a child’s success at school. This differs from the non parent group who conceded that speaking English at home will not have an influence on a child’s success at school. However two percent of the parent group is unsure if this factor would have an impact as they felt that children are adaptable and that children should follow their cultural language so as to uphold their heritage. In the parents group sixty percent agreed that if parents took their child regularly to museums’ it would have an impact on a childs success at school. This is in contrast to the non parents group where the majority of them were in agreement that if parents took their child regularly to museums’ it would not have an impact on whether the child would be successful at school. However twenty percent of the non-parent group held the view that it would be beneficial because museums provide history and histrory plays an important part in the child’s future. The entire parents group agreed that a child’s adoption does not have an impact on the child success at school. Whereas eighty percent of the non parents concluded that a child’s adoption does have an impact on the child success at school. However 20 percent of the non parent group disagreed with the statement The entire parent group agreed that smacking a child regularly does not have an influence on a child’s success at school. Likewise the majority of the non-parent group agreed with this factor. However twenty percent in the non parent group was unsure as to whether this would influence a child’s success at school. Eighty percent of the parent group were in agreement that a parent’s involvement with the school governing Body /PTA does not have an impact on a child’s success at school. Similarly eighty percent of the non-parent group also agreed with this statement. However twenty percent of both groups believed that parents who were involved with the school governing Body /PTA did have an impact a child’s success at school. The entire parent group agreed that there is a connection between a child’s success at school and how much television they watch. Likewise the majority of the non-parent group agreed that there is a connection between a child’s success at school and how much television they watch. However twenty percent of the non parent group disagreed and considered it beneficial for the child success at school. Sixty percent of the parent group were in agreement that if a child has many books it would have an impact on how successful a child will be at school. Similarly the majority of the non-parent group were in agreement that if a child has many books it would have an impact on how successful a child will be at school. However twenty percent of the non parent group disagreed and stated that if the child actually read the books then it might have an impact on the child’s success at school. All of the participants in the parents group agreed that if parents read to their child every night it would influence the child’s success at school. Similarly eighty percent of the non parents group agreed that if parents read to their child every night that it would have an impact on the childs success at school.. However twenty percent of the non parent did not agree and argued that emotionally it might make the child feel more grounded and secure, but felt that it would not have an impact on a child’s success at school. In conclusion, we can see that the parents and non-parents views are very similar regarding their responses in many of the factors. Culture and values seem to influences many of the South African parents and non-parents perceptions.

Why is it not unusual for writers to confuse adverbs and adjectives?
i don't get it Ms. Sue
He pardoned Richard Nixon he wanted to spare the country the agony of a former president on trial. (Watergate) A new regime in Cambodia seized the American merchant ship Mayaguez after the ship entered Cambodian waters. President Ford called the seizure an "act of piracy" He sent naval force and about 2,000 marines to free the crew of 39 sailors.
ARE ANY OF THESE RIGHT?

First my paper will discuss the three steps of perception and give definitions, second I will provide description of my three observers complete with an explanation as to how their backgrounds might affect their perception of the world. Finally I will delve deeper into what these observers had to say about the photograph I showed them by analyzing their perceptions. Main Point one: Explanation of the three steps of perception Selecting,Organization, Interpretation. Main Point two:Description of my observers and how their backgrounds might affect their perception of the world.( I have all the information for this step) Main Point three Analysis of observers' description of the Photo. ( I have all of this information as well) Coclusion??
How about this?? Perception drives people every day. What people perceive is usually what they believe, and this is based on what they hear see and think. This paper will help me to understand this better by analyzing the perception of three observers to a photo I showed them.

You learn from all of those areas in your life. So how does this make up your learning network? Is it that your learning network is your teacher, peers, family, and your environment? So how does this help your instructor to understand these connection?
Why is it important for an instructional designer to know these connections?
Thank you so much, you have always been a great help to me. I am 52 years old and sometimes I just need a little push in the right direction. I am trying to obtain my bachelors degree in early childhood education. I already have my associates degree.

This site is where I got the standards per my teacher but it does not inform me of how to implement the skills and competencies
Do you have any subject matter that I can think about. I have just been researching and there is just nothing that comes to mind that relates to this standard. A real world issue can be so many things.I have not been able to commit to one because I am afraid it want fit into the standard.
Maybe Global Warming, Environmental issues, Political issues, Causes of Poverty, Climate Change, Biodiversity,Foreign Aide or lack of. How do any of these sound?
Thank You so much for getting my brain going in the right direction. Sometimes all I need is a little push to get there.I am 53 years old trying to finish up my bachelors degree in education, it's HARD.
Ok I think I will go with Addressing the Homeless in the United States.
Or what do you think about on addressing the violence and descrimination in college dorms.
I meant addressing violence and discrimination in college fraternities
I can have the students provide solutions to this problem, but how would I assess their work. I am deciding between the Fraternity issue or the Homeless issue but either way I can apply what you gave me last week towards this lesson. And Thank You for sparking my creative juices.
Homeless it is and Thank You so much for your assistance and help
Can no one help me with this???

How were they different
S= 35 I= 60 J= 15
Make an input-output table for the function use 0,1,2,3,4,5 as the x value. Y=5(15-x)
